BIOGRAPHY

Josh has garnered 8 years of diverse shooting experience while traversing the U.S., Europe and Asia.  He has filmed more than 30 short films, music videos and television programming for MTV, a graffiti documentary for Atari, commercial work for Grey Advertising, political documentaries for Danish National TV as well as stage visuals for the Thievery Corporation's World Tour 2005.  Josh also served as the Director of Photography for two feature documentaries—one exploring the Drum and Bass Rave Culture in the U.S. and the other highlighting children at the Palm Tree Orphanage and the charitable works of Monk Cealo in Japan and Cambodia. As a director, his first film titled "The White Runway" premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival 2002 and was hailed as an "all access safari through a moment in fashion history."

Currently, Josh maintains his efforts as a multifaceted Director of Photography and a Director in the documentary medium.  He is presently developing a number of documentary projects which attempt to bring relevant social issues into the public lime light. Fame showcases the lives of two young violin slinging subway musicians from Jamaica Queens.  Raising an Army examines the future of soldiering, the ethics of recruiting, and the impact of the theater of war on American youth.

Josh holds a BFA with Deans Honors from the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Film Program.
